Election Irregularities for this Spring 2025 election. 

Hopefully, none of these annoyances will arise during future elections.

1. The board is no longer collecting petitions from incumbents before the due date. This practice ended when I stated I would be there on the due date.

2. As one of the four candidates that showed up on the due date, my petition was placed in the lottery. All the other candidates are invited to it except me. My invitation went to my school account that I have not used since retiring over 9 years ago.

3. The library handed out the incorrect petition to the candidates that it received from DeKalb County Clerk. I noticed this and inquired about it. It turns out that the Clerk had sent the wrong petitions to all agencies holding nonpartisan elections. This was rectified. Unfortunately, this came after some people had already started to collect signatures.
